I'll be upfront: I've never run a tool crib. My background is software and sales. But the shops I've spent time in all share the same frustration — where did that tool go, and how many do we actually have left? This demo is a prototype of what a lightweight, browser-based crib tracker could look like: check tools in and out, build assemblies, and see a running count of what's on the shelf. It's not QuickBooks-integrated yet. It's a prototype. But the bones are here, and the integration path is clear.
