I'm not a machinist — I'm a software builder with a sales background, and I work with shop owners who tell me quoting eats their week. This is a working prototype of the idea: drop in an STL file, it reads the part's size and volume, and runs those numbers through pricing rules you would set. The math here is a starting point — in a real build, every number comes from how your shop actually runs.

Why I built this

Where this idea came from, in plain terms.

I'll be straight with you: I don't know how to run a mill, and I'm not going to pretend I can eyeball a part and quote it better than you can. What I do know is software and sales — and every shop owner I've talked to says the same thing: quoting takes too long, and slow quotes lose jobs.

So this is the pitch: you bring the quoting knowledge, I build the tool around it. We sit down for an afternoon, you walk me through how you'd price a handful of real jobs, and I turn that into something your customers can use on your website — or your estimators can use to get a first number in minutes instead of hours. The numbers on this page are placeholders. Your numbers are the product.
